December 21, 2012 is the end of the Mayan Long Count Calendar. The question is what does that mean? Many different books, websites, magazines, researchers and countless others have debated its meaning. Most come up with one of two conclusions. First is the idea of an apocalyptic end times scenario, while others believe it to be a new birth into a brand new age of enlightenment and consciousness.

As we are aware, there seems to be an increase in natural disasters in recent years. Some point to this as evidence to a catastrophic climax that will occur in 2012. The question is: How much of this is backed with actual science and how much is based around myth and superstition? This documentary covers both sides of the debate and finds out what the Mayan Calendar end date means to leading researchers and scientists in this field.

Featured in the documentary are John Anthony West, John Major Jenkins, Graham Hancock, Robert Bauval, Daniel Pinchbeck, Alonso Mendez, Alberto Villoldo, Anthony Aveni, Jim Marrs, Walter Cruttenden, Lawrence E. Joseph, Douglas Rushkoff and Benito Vegas Duran.
